Pastor Richard Ellis launched Reunion Church on October 5, 1997 in a small office in the Uptown area of Dallas, Texas. A group of 15 believers, devoted to the Lord, shared a common mission to reach the ALL of Dallas with the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Embracing the multi-cultural and multi-ethnic diversity of the city, the church sought to be a place where anyone could come to hear about Jesus, plant roots in His truth, and learn how to live lives that bring glory to God. We began in an office in uptown Dallas, but the growth of the Reunion family has moved our Sunday morning worship to an elementary school, a high school auditorium, and then in September 2001 to our current Sunday worship location at the Dallas Convention Center Theater, also known as The Black Academy of Arts and Letters. Through our local congregation, many individuals have established a relationship with God through Jesus Christ through faith, and are growing as true followers (disciples) of Jesus Christ. Our hope is that they in turn can then introduce another person to Jesus Christ and help that person grow to maturity in their faith in Jesus Christ.
Men and women called to serve the church body through servant leadership.
